Chef Sandra Del Greco sets the scene in her unique warehouse apartment space in Richmond, where's she's created a modern take on Old Italy. She'll create your choice of a special Menu Classico with a modern twist or a seasonally themed Tuscan menu.
When you arrive, you'll be greeted with drinks and appetizers at the kitchen bench. Following your drinks and finger food you will be seated at the dining table, where your social long lunch experience really begins. You can take in Sandra’s cooking in the nearby open space kitchen, or just relax and talk at the table. When you sit, Sandra will talk with your group about the menu and the recipes, introducing you to exciting, original Italian cuisine.

BET YOU DIDN'T KNOWBorn in Italy in Pescara, Abruzzo, and raised amongst strong women who loved to cook for their families, Sandra Del Greco has a passion for cooking developed from a very early age. She migrated to Australia in 1971 where learning English and establishing a career as a senior Finance, Administration and Systems Manager became her passion.
She was very successful in managing a number of businesses and achieved great results. Her passion for cooking was a hobby but cooking Italian food remained a dream as she had no family here to learn from, no recipes and no one who could teach her how to cook the dishes she grew up with. Establishing her business and starting the cooking classes has been the realisation of a life-long dream. She wanted to achieve an environment where people would be able to learn to cook the Italian food she never had access to.
Sandra opened La Cucina Di Sandra in 2014, turning a lifelong dream and passion into reality. She wants to offer the best cooking classes and show people a type of Italian food they have never seen before. Her cooking classes are about the diversity of Italian cuisine, the food of 20 regions in Italy, which equates to the same number of cuisines.
