We’ll always make room for dessert and while most of us know how to enjoy a sweet treat, there’s more to what meets the eye when it comes to plating and presenting these creations.
In this 1.5 hour creative workshop hosted by Masterchef 2017 contestant, Bryan Zhu, you and your guests will have the opportunity to look at artful desserts from the chef’s perspective. This behind-the-scenes experience will show you the professional techniques, tips and tricks to style, plate and present three desserts to your liking, and then eat them too!
Hosted at Studio Enti, creator of gorgeous locally-made porcelain ware, you’ll have plenty of aesthetic inspiration surrounding you as you learn how to understand portions and positioning, colour scheming and blocking, and how to leverage flatware’s natural forms, shapes and colours to your advantage.
You’ll get to savour your desserts with light refreshments and a charcuterie board throughout this creative session. At the end of the workshop, each guest will walk away with the skills to recreate the magical fun at home to give your next dinner party that extra wow factor.
