The seasonal cuisine at Anatoli is always fresh and always offers a few delicious surprises, so get ready to be amazed by the wordly dishes the Executive Chef and his team prepare for you. Here you'll also enjoy 4 wines to perfectly compliment your mouth-watering meal. When you've finished dinner, you'll head over to the very Mexican El Topo on the rooftop for some delectable and decadent desserts. Finally, you'll end your night with a signature cocktail at Chimmis, designed by the mixologist at the bar. BET YOU DIDN'T KNOWHead Chef Matthew Fitzgerald, who joined The Eastern at the beginning of 2012, brings with him extensive local and international experience. El Topo represents a radical departure for the young chef, who is classically trained and has performed long stints at some of Sydney’s top restaurants.
After earning his stripes at Bathers’ Pavilion in 2003, Matt worked with Jeremy Bloor at the Harvey Nichols-owned Oxo Tower in London, and with Brent Savage at the acclaimed Bentley Restaurant and Bar from 2008 to 2009. He also worked with Christoffer Hruskova at Fig Bistro in London and then was back at The Bentley Restaurant & Bar, Surry Hills from 2010 to 2012.
At El Topo, Matt uses a fine dining kitchen team to pioneer his own interpretation of modern Mexican. You'll taste his skills and creativity in every bite!
